Lyubim
Ljubim (Russian Любим ) is a small town in Yaroslavl Oblast (Russia) with 5555 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ).
Geography
The city is located about 125 kilometers northeast of the Oblasthauptstadt Yaroslavl at the mouth of the river Obnora in the Kostroma, a left tributary of the Volga.
Ljubim is the administrative center of the homonymous Rajons.
The town lies on the main route of the Trans -Siberian Railway ( Route 393 kilometers from Moscow).
History
Ljubim was founded in 1546 ( or 1538), and received city rights in 1777.
