The G'bakka, also Bwaka, Ngbaka, are a people in the Central African Republic and in the North West of the Congo. They are a minority in both countries.

Former President and Emperor of the Central African Empire, Jean- Bédel Bokassa was a G'bakka, as well as the first president, David Dacko and the Prime Minister Barthelemy Boganda. The G'bakka speak the language Ngbaka Ma'bo, in total there are about 300,000 G'bakka. Another well-known G'bakka is the Congolese singer Koffi Olomide.

Her musical instruments include large slit drums, which are decorated at their ends with buffalo or antelope heads, the angular harp kondi and a U-shaped, einsaitiger musical bow.
