M. C. Gainey

Mike Connor Gainey ( born January 18, 1948 in Jackson, Mississippi) is an American film and television actor. As a character actor of his stature 1.90 m high and a menacing facial expression is carried because of his mustache in many roles, often cast as a criminal.

Life and career

Since the early 1980s, Gainey had over 50 appearances in film and television, such as in the action movies Breakdown, Con Air (both 1997), Terminator 3 (2003), the comedy Sideways (2004), The Dukes of Hazzard (2005 ) and in the television series Desperate Housewives (2006). In 1990 he was one of the stars of the short-lived series Against the Law, and three years later he played the role of the gangster Big Smith in the Western series The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.. Since 2005 it belongs to the performer ranks of the hit series Lost, in which he a member of the Others embodies. 2006 Gainey played the "Wizard" in the strip Apocalypse Oz, a surreal mix of the movies The Wizard of Oz and Apocalypse Now. In 2007, he was among other things in the comedy Wild Hogs - to see lousy traveling with John Travolta.

MC Gainey is married to Kim Gainey since 2002.
