M10 highway (Russia)

The M10 Rossiya (Russian: Россия, "Russia ") is a highway of federal importance in Russia. It begins in Moscow with the branch of the Leningrad Highway ( Leningradskoje storeys ) from the Leningrad prospectus ( Leningradski prospectus ), crosses the Moscow ring road ( MKAD ) and runs in a northwesterly direction over Tver and Novgorod to Saint Petersburg. The road is part of the European Route 105 The section between Moscow ring road and Kirillovka (about 12 km) extended with the two branches to the airport Sheremetyevo (5 and 6 km) is posted as a motorway.

Earlier also the continuation of Saint Petersburg on Vyborg to the state border to Finland was ( also part of the European Route 18) part of the M10, but was spun off in 2010 as Highway A181 Skandinawija. The former number M10 can also be used alternatively there until 31 December 2017.

In addition to the partial expansion of the M10, which began several years ago, is a completely new trassierte highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg in construction, given the number M11.
