M2 (TV channel)

M2 ( originally MTV2 ) is a television station of the Hungarian public broadcaster Magyar Televízió. The program consists mainly of cultural programs and documentaries. It however also sports programs are broadcast.

The transmitter is used in Budapest via DVB -T and is unencrypted broadcast via the satellite Euro Bird 9A. Furthermore, it is available in the pay- TV packages of UPC Direct and RCS DigiTV via the Astra satellite 1KR and Intelsat 10-02. The ratings of the cultural division program currently stand at 2.4 percent market share.
