M39 Pantserwagen

The DAF M39 was an armored car, from the DAF from 1939 to 1940 produced twelve pieces. The M39 was used during the Second World War. Van Doorne NV 1938 Aanhangwagenfabriek ( DAF) was awarded the contract to build twelve armored vehicles to equip the third armored squadron of the Dutch army. The 1938 featured prototype designated DAF nor as PT 3, in the Dutch army vehicles produced from 1939 known as DAF M39. In May 1940, took the built up to twelve copies part in the fighting against the German Wehrmacht. This is where a vehicle was destroyed. After the occupation of the Netherlands and the rest were used by German police units and on the Eastern Front. Here were two more copies - documentary evidence through photos - destroyed. The whereabouts of the remaining DAF M39 as well as the number of 1940 for incurred is unknown.
