Autópálya M43 (Hungarian for, highway M43 ') is a running in the east-west direction of the motorway in Hungary and part of the European Route 68 It starts and ends in Szeged at Nagylak on the border with Romania. The highway is completed until after Mako. Through this opening section of the city of Szeged is already greatly relieved.

In the financing of the European Union of the Hungarian National Development Agency raises the Ministry of Economy of irregularities. Thus, the basis of calculation was distorted for the granting of aid and have been wrongly paid 37.5 million euros. This had to be refunded. The last stretch of motorway to the Romanian A1 will be completed by 30 September 2014.
