Maalik

Malik (Arabic مالك, DMG Maalik ) is the name of an angel who is mentioned in the Koran and in various traditions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The Islamic faith after Allah has called the angel Malik, and with him other angels who zebani (Hell's keepers ), tasked to hell ( Gehenna ) to guard and punish those who are caught in hell and has, for Malik, for the most made and most powerful of all the guards of hell. In the Qur'an the name Malik falls in total only once. In Sura 43.77 says:

"And they call ( in the torment of Hell ): > Malik! Your Lord is to us ( yet ) put an end (so that we find salvation in death ) < He ( however ) said: >. ( No!) You will (here) remain <".

According to the tradition of Ahmad ibn Hanbal Mohammed met in his journey to heaven Malik. Gabriel demands Muhammad to to greet Malik and Mohammed greet him. Hanbal, this leads to a proof of the correctness and truth of the heavenly journey.
