Maartje Scheepstra

Maartje Scheepstra ( born April 1, 1980 in Angguruk, Papua, Indonesia), second Trijntje first name, is a Dutch hockey player. Since its debut in 2001, she played 98 times for the Dutch national team and scored 12 goals.

Since the summer of 2001, she played for the Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club, with whom she won the 2005 European Cup ladies. In 2003, she was honored as world hockey player in the Junior Women. Their greatest success was winning the silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In the final against Germany, they scored the first goal for 1:2.
