Maburaho

Maburaho (Japaneseまぶらほ) is a published since 2001 Light Novel series by Toshihiko Tsukiji, which was implemented in 2003 as an anime television series, Miki Miyashita as a manga series.

Action

Seventeen- year-old Kazuki Shikimori visited the Aoi - Gukan elite school for gifted magician in a world in which the social status of a person is measured by their magical abilities. How many spells can use a person with magical talent, varies from person to person. If this limit is exceeded, the person turns to dust. Kazuki has a fairly low limit on the use of spells. For this reason, he can apply his magic only a few times in order to effect a spell, resulting in less popular with his classmates.

Three very pretty girl enter into Kazuki's life. The young Yuuna, the militant Rin and Kuriko. All three are daughters of influential families. The three girls have except it's not on Kazuki himself, but on his genes. Among his ancestors are namely some of the largest and most famous magician of all time. Kazuki can not help it, to help the girls when they are in trouble. All his remaining magic, he eventually turns on to save Yuuna from a threatening situation. With this spell he exceeds his limit and crumbles to dust.

But he is not dead, but be transformed by now as a spirit through the world. The three girls then settle their differences and decide to work together to help Kazuki back to a physical shape. For as long as he is a spirit, and therefore no one can touch him, and no one gets his genes.

Publications

The written and illustrated by Toshihiko Tsukiji by Eiji Komatsu novel series is published in separate chapters in the Japanese magazine Dragon Magazine since 2001. So far, the Fujimishobo -Verlag has moved eighteen books of the series.

Adaptations

Manga

A novel based on the manga Miki Miyashita drew implementation. This appeared in Japan from 2003 to 2004 in separate chapters in the manga magazine Dragon Age, was also published in the same time, among other things Daisuke Moriyama Chrno Crusade. The Kadokawa Shoten - Verlag brought this single chapter out in two anthologies.

In North America, two volumes are published by ADV Manga.

Anime

The animation studio JCStaff produced an anime television series based on novels Tsukijis. This consists of 24 episodes and was erstausgestrahlt October 2003 to April 2004 on the Japanese TV station WOWOW. Directed the series led Shin'ichiro Kimura.

In North America, the anime from ADV Films is sold.
