Mac Miller

Mac Miller (born 19 January 1992 and actually Malcolm McCormick ) is an American rapper from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Biography

In 2009 he released the mixtape How High and the preview album, The Jukebox.

Early 2010 Mac Miller signed a recording contract with Rostrum Records. Although he had drawn the interest of several record labels, he decided to Rostrum, probably because these record company had its headquarters in his hometown and also Wiz Khalifa had under contract, a good friend of Mac. On 13 August 2010, he released his mixtape KIDS ( Kickin ' Incredibly Dope Shit ), which can be downloaded from the DatPiff.com page. In anticipation of this release, he released a series of music videos, which were presented on his official YouTube channel TreeJTV.

In 2011, he released his mixtape Best Day Ever. This was produced by well-known producers such as Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, and Chuck Inglish.

Beginning of April 2011 appeared with the EP On and on and Beyond, which was produced by Rostrum Records, his first proper release, which brought it to number 8 in the rap charts and number 55 of the official Billboard 200.

8 November 2011 his first album " Blue Slide Park ", which was named after the park of his home town where he grew up and spent his childhood and youth appeared. The album deals with the places of his youth. He also revealed that that album contains songs which he composed in his youth.

On November 15 came out his mixtape "I Love Life, Thank You ". This he has unannounced provided for his fans, as he has reached one million followers on Twitter.

He also announced that he uploads the theme song for the album, when 25,000 people have pre-ordered the album. With 50,000 preorder it is $ 50,000 to the 'Make A Wish Foundation ' and donate if 100,000 pre-orders were made, the album will be released immediately before the planned date of publication.

In November 2011, Blue Slide Park debuted at # 1 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 144,000 copies in its first week.

August 8, 2012 Miller announced that his new album, for which he had already received around the 22 tracks should appear in early 2013 and considerably more personal than Blue Slide Park will fail. According to him, it does not matter if he can achieve such a success as with BSP again, for it is merely a statement of the album important.
