Macarena Aguilar Díaz ( born March 12, 1985 in Bolaños de Calatrava ) is a Spanish handball player.

Career

Aguilar initially played with the Spanish club Astroc Sagunto, with whom she won the championship in 2005 and 2008 the trophy. In 2009 she signed a contract with SD Itxako. With Itxako won the backcourt player in 2010, 2011 and 2012, the league and cup double. Furthermore, it was 2011 at the finals of the EHF Champions League. In the summer of 2012, she joined the Danish first division club Randers HK. In 2011 she was a member of the Spanish squad at the World Cup in Brazil, who won the bronze medal. A year later, Aguilar took part in the Olympic Games in London, where she also won the bronze medal.
