Macha Grenon

Macha Grenon ( born June 7, 1968 in Montreal ) is a Canadian actress.

Life and achievements

Grenon was born in Montreal. In its been about 20 - year career she put over 40 roles in film and television dar. In the four seasons of the Canadian television series Scoop - The Ripper she played the lead role, the other newspaper journalists, represented inter alia by Roy Dupuis and Rémy Girard orders issued. A supporting role she played in the Oscar-winning tragicomedy The Barbarian Invasions (2003) by director Denys Arcand, in Rémy Girard is seen in the lead role.

In 1998 Grenon was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The Sleep Room at the Gemini Award. 2002 was followed by a Gemeaux nomination for Mon Meilleur Ennemi. In 2006 she was nominated for the awards for Familia 26 Genie for best actress for a Genie Award.
