Maciej Iwański

Maciej Iwański Stanislaw (born 7 May 1981 in Kraków, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Career

Iwański began his professional career with his hometown club Omag Oświęcim, from where he moved to local rivals Unia Oświęcim 1999. There it held him for only one year, and so he moved to the summer break 2000 Szczakowianka Jaworzno where Iwanski remained until the winter of 2004. After strong performances there, the first division Zagłębie Lubin became aware of the Cracow and signed him for 4 seasons. In Lubin Iwański completed not only his first minutes in the Ekstraklasa, but won the championship in 2007 and the Polish Super Cup.

In 2008 he moved for an estimated transfer fee of 650,000 € to Legia Warszawa, where he was also able to win the Polish Super Cup at the beginning. Here he played from 2008 to 2011., 2011, he won it with the Polish Cup the last title in the traditional club and scored in 71 games in the Ekstraklasa Legia Warszawa for 12 goals.

In January 2011, he spent an estimated € 250,000 in the Turkish Süper Lig Manisaspor to the first division. After only one year and thirteen missions he returned to Poland to ŁKS Łódź.

For the 2012/13 season he moved one more time to Manisaspor. Before the start of the 2013/14 season, he broke his contract with Manisaspor on again and signed a one -year contract with the Polish first division Podbeskidzie Bielsko- Biała

Career in the national team

On 6 December 2006 Iwański made ​​its debut in the Polish national team in a 5-2 victory against the United Arab Emirates.
