MacKay Lake is an approximately 100 km long and 977 km ² large lake in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The total area including the islands is 1061 km ². The lake is located 100 km north of McLeod Bay of Great Slave Lake. The lake is in the extreme northeast of Lockhart River, a tributary of the Great Slave Lake, drained.
