Structures

  • The still existing Romanesque chapel from the 12th century was the parish church.
  • The Ried Münster from the 19th century can hold around 500 people. As the village contained about twice the population at the time, pushed the small size of the old church on resentment. The Mayor Goepfert was the driving force for the construction of a new church, and so the Church of St. Stephen was built in neo-Gothic style 1864-1866. Ancient Ried Munster then became a cemetery chapel.
  • Since the last native Jews moved out of Mack 's home in the 1980s, there was a synagogue for the time being no more use. Today, therefore, is located in this building at the bottom of a hall, which is used for theatrical productions, or private parties. The upper area is used as a library and youth as a meeting place.
  • The Jewish cemetery was established in the 16th century.
