Macon is a town in Macon County, in the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2000, Macon had 1213 inhabitants.

Geography

Macon is located at 39 ° 42'33 " north latitude and 89 ° 00'01 " west longitude. The site extends over 2.3 km ², which consist exclusively of land area.
