Madagascar (2005 film)

Madagascar is a computer-animated cartoon. Rico Pfirstinger writes for the movie magazine Cinema: " Madagascar" is not a new and largely dispenses with the usual in this genre moral messages " Finding Nemo ". No great movie - but great fun.

From the Film Review Board Wiesbaden ( FBW), the film was given the rating of particular value. In their statement the assessment body called the film " technically perfect" and sees it as " compelling family entertainment designed with ingenuity and wit ."

Music

The film contains three more times played songs. One is a Theme from New York, New York, the (both) ( Marty only ) sing the two friends Alex and Marty both at the zoo and on the island. In the scene of the first reunion of Marty and Alex in Madagascar, the theme song is played from the hour of the winner of the Greek composer Vangelis. Another well-known song is I Like To Move It by Reel 2 Real from 1994. This is the party anthem of the lemurs and is also played in the credits. The third title is the nature of the resulting 1966 film Born Free - Born Free. It is presented at the beginning of the film in Marty's dream sequence with singing. A separate series of Madagascar Penguins running on German television since April 2009 on Nickelodeon titled The Penguins of Madagascar. 2009, another Christmas special with the title Merry Madagascar was produced. Furthermore, the film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted was released (also in 3D) on October 2, 2012 in Germany.
