Madai

Madai ( מדי, Μαδαι ) was, according to Gen. 10.2 EU a son of Japheth, his brothers were Gomer, Magog, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

He was the progenitor of the people of Madai, who were resident in midnight, so north of Israel. Madai is usually equated with the people of the Medes ( Mada Assyrian ).
