Madina Lake

Madina Lake is a four-piece Pop-Punk/Post-Hardcore-Band from Chicago, Illinois.

History

Madina Lake was founded by the singer Nathan Leone, his twin brother and bassist Matthew Leone, Mateo Camargo guitarist and drummer Dan Torelli 2005.

The band signed in August 2005, a contract with the record label Roadrunner Records. Her debut album From Them, Through Us, To You was released on 27 March 2007, produced by Mark Trombino. It was followed by a tour with Fire Cape, Fightstar and Emanuel. Madina Lake also toured ( at different times ) with bands such as Gym Class Heroes, Papa Roach or Paramore.

Actually, they had promised to play the Warped Tour 2007 at, but called off again to play on the "second stage" of the Project Revolution Tour 2007 with bands like Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance. Linkin Park Madina Lake itself had chosen.

2007 the band won the Kerrang! Award in the category " Best International Newcomer". They also came up with the title page of the British music magazine " Rock Sound " and on the German MTV TRL -voting list.

In January 2008, they toured in Europe and then they went with Coheed and Cambria, Fightstar and Circa Survive on tour. In February 2008 they played on the Australian Soundwave Festival alongside bands such as The Offspring and Incubus. Then Madina Lake toured with Aiden in the U.S. and then in Australia. Their new album " Attics to Eden " was released in April 2009 and the song " Never Take Us Alive " is also available in the full version and the demo of rally racing game Colin McRae: DiRT 2 included. In October 2009, they played as support of Papa Roach on their European tour.
