Mädler (lunar crater)

Mädler is an impact crater on the southern hemisphere of the Moon. He is in a Mare, with the Mare Nectaris connects the sine Asperitatis in the north to the southeast. To the west is the prominent crater Theophilus, and Mädler is surrounded by the outer wall foothills.

The rim of Mädler is irregular and slightly pulled in its shape in the length. The crater floor is traversed by a chain of hills to the leans a low central peak. To the east of the crater show ray-like markings that include a ring-shaped structure in the northeast.
