Mads Glæsner

Mads Glaesner ( born October 18, 1988 in Tårnby, Denmark ) is a Danish swimmer.

Career

Mads Glæsners first international success was winning the bronze in the 400 meters freestyle at the European Short Course Championships in Rijeka in 2008. As early as the previous summer of the same year, at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he reached over 400 meters freestyle the twelfth and the 1500-meter freestyle on the 14th Place.

With the World Swimming Championships 2009 in Rome was Glaesner fifth over 400 meters freestyle. A few months later, at the Short Course European Championships 2009 in Istanbul he won the 400m and 1500m freestyle bronze medals.
