Maetsma is an Estonian village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Avinurme ( Avinurme vald ). It is located in Ida -Viru county (East Wierland ).

Description and History

The village has 63 inhabitants ( 2010). South of Maetsma is the bog Suursoo.

Maetsma was first mentioned in documents in 1599. At the time, the place consisted of two farms. 1624 there was only one place in the homestead, the end of the 17th century five.
