Mafube Local Municipality

Mafube is a municipality in the district Fezile Dabi, Free State Province in South Africa. In 2001, the population was 57,662 in a total area of 4604 km ². The administrative center is Frankfort. Madala Lewis Ntombela is the mayor.

The name is a Sesothowort for the dawning of a new day. He is said to symbolize the dawning of a new era for the community.
