Magdalena de Kino
Magdalena de Kino is a city with 24 447 inhabitants in the Mexican state of Sonora.
History
The area, which forms the Municipality today, was inhabited by the Papago and Pima Indians. The city was founded in the early 17th century by the Baptist Lieutenant Juan Escalante.
Tourism
In the city there are six hotels and six restaurants. Area attractions include the Church of Santa Maria, the Mausoleum del Padre and the Jardín Plaza Benito Juárez.
