Magic Trackpad

The Magic Trackpad is a multi -touch trackpad by Apple. It was unveiled on 27 July 2010. Compared with the trackpad of the MacBook and MacBook Pro series, the Magic Trackpad is about 20% larger.

Operation

The Magic Trackpad has like the Apple Magic Mouse a multi-touch surface that the trackpad of the current Apple notebooks or the screens of iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is similar in its functioning. There are several gestures to operate the computer. By a simple up or down movements with two fingers, the user can scroll example. It supports gestures such as swipe through web pages like a book or dynamic scrolling. The whole surface is also a button to click. The Magic Trackpad is made of molded aluminum as well as touch- and wear-resistant glass.

The trackpad is powered by two AA batteries, which connects to a Mac via Bluetooth takes place.
