Magnus Jonsson (biathlete)

Magnus Jonsson ( born April 4, 1982 in Sollefteå ) is a Swedish biathlete.

Magnus Jonsson is a student and lives in Sollefteå. The athlete of Jämtland Biathlon Biathlon operates since 2002. He is coached by Staffan Eklund and formerly of Wolfgang Pichler. Since 2005 he is a member of the Swedish national team.

In 2002, he joined the Junior World Championships in Ål and the following year at the Junior World Championships in Kościelisko each without notable success to. His debut in the Biathlon World Cup in 2005, he celebrated the Östersund and 101 in singles. From the following season 2006/ 07 he was able to continually improve and run in Antholz in the Biathlon World Championships in 2007 as the 30th of persecution for the first time in the World Cup points ranking. Magnus Jonsson took part in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. His best result was the 79th place in the sprint.
