Magnus Kihlstedt

Magnus Kihlstedt (* February 29, 1972 in Munkedal, Sweden ) is a former Swedish football goalkeeper.

Career

Kihlstedt played in youth at Munkedals IF, before he signed his first professional contract with Oddevold. In 1997 he joined the Norwegian Tippeligaen to Lillestrøm SK, where he spent two seasons running. In 1999 he moved to league rivals SK Brann, where in 2000 he was runner-up. In 2001 he went to Denmark for FC København. With the club he was Danish Champion in 2003 and 2004, in 2004 also succeeded in winning the cup. In 2005, he finished his career.

Kihlstedt was careful since his debut in 1998 against the United States a total of 13 times the gate of the Swedish national team. As a replacement for Magnus Hedman he was on the national team in the World Cup 2002.
