Magnus Persson

Magnus Persson ( born December 17, 1990 in Halmstad Snöstorp, Sweden) is a Swedish handball player.

The 1.92 m wide and 92 kg right back player began with the Handball Game at HK Drott Halmstad. There, the left-hander also debuted with 17 years in the Elitserien. With Drott he participated in the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2010/11, in which he reached the quarter- finals. In the 2012/13 season, the Swede was 10 Swedish Champion with the back number. Until February 2014, he scored 849 goals in 249 league games. Also in the EHF Champions League 2013/14 he belongs to the group stage with 67 hits for the top scorer of the competition. For the 2014/15 season he will play for the German Bundesliga club VfL Gummersbach with a contract until 2016.

Magnus Persson played 37 times in the Swedish U19 and U22 selection (95 goals). In the Swedish national team he debuted on June 4, 2013 against Poland. 2014 he took part in the European Championships in Denmark. So far, the student denied 14 matches in which he scored 23 goals.
