Mahan, Iran

Mahan is a village about 35 kilometers southeast of Kerman in the homonymous province. The oasis is the one for her burial place of Sufiführers Nemat Ollah -e Vali on the other for the 6 km south Shazdeh garden known.

The tomb of Shah Nemat Ollah only ed-Din -e Vali (1331-1431) - poet, sage and founder of a dervish order - is a complex construction, whose famous dome and twin minarets are completely covered with turquoise tiles. The mausoleum was built in 1436 by Ahmad Shah Vali. Extensions and renovations of the building, especially the dome, made ​​during the reign of the Safavid king Shah Abbas I in 1601.
