Mahindra United
Mahindra United is an Indian football club based in Mumbai. The main sponsor, the automotive group Mahindra & Mahindra, is also a namesake of the club that was originally founded in 1962 under the name of Mahindra & Mahindra. The present name was given to the club in 2000.
Following Manchester United, the club is in India also called MU. He plays in the I-League and is one of the financially strongest clubs in India and provides some of the Indian national team. Due to the poor quality of the stadium, the club has threatened to leave the club in the city.
The result of fifth place in the 2007/ 08 season followed in 2008 /09 is no better and the club landed at the end of the season again at number five.
Dissolution of the Club
After 2009/10 season in the I-League to Mahindra United disbanded and placed so that a game operation.
