Mahmoud Mosharraf Azad Tehrani

Mahmoud Mosharraf ( Moshref ) Azad Tehrani (born 9 December 1934 in Tehran, † January 19, 2006, ibid; author name Azad M. ( م آزاد ). ) Was a contemporary Iranian poet.

Some of his poems were sung by Iranian singers. Gol -e Bagh -e Ashenaii is one of his best known poems.

Poetry collections

Azad has published four volumes of poetry collections:

  • Diar -e Shab ( The Land of the night)
  • Aaineh ha Tohist ( The mirrors are empty)
  • Ghasideh -ye Boland -e Baad ( The long ode of the Wind)
  • Ba Man ​​Toloo Kon ( Rise up with me).

In 2000 he published another collection, with mostly already published, but also partly new poems, Gole Baaghe Aashnaai.

In addition to the volumes of poetry he wrote about 50 books for young people. Among them:

Many of his poems are used in textbooks in Iran.
