Maiestas Carolina

With Maiestas Carolina, the law book is called, the Charles IV 1351-1354 design for the Kingdom of Bohemia. The term was coined in 1617.

The domestic law and on the basis of the Constitutions of Melfi Frederick II ( 1231 ) developed 127 products should strengthen the power of the king, which is why the Bohemian estates as long as resistance contributed, to Charles IV in 1355, the project dropped.
