Mainland Affairs Council

The Council Mainland Affairs (Chinese大陆 委员会/大陆 委员会, pinyin Dalu Wěiyuánhuì, Eng. Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) ) is being moved under the Executive Yuan site for the general planning, coordination, evaluation and implementation of the policy of the Republic of China on Taiwan towards the People's Republic of China.

The counterpart on the part of the People's Republic of China is the Office for Taiwan Affairs.

The Council leads the Foundation exchange across the Taiwan Strait, a private organization, which regulates technical and business matters relating to the Chinese mainland. The counterpart on the part of the Republic of China is the union of relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
