Mairari

Mairari was Negest Negus ( Emperor ) of Ethiopia. According to some records, he was a member of the Zagwe Dynasty. Little is known about his reign. EA Wallis Budge indicates a period of 15 or 18 years and writes that Mairari died around 1308. Other scholars date the time of his death, however, before the throne Yekuno Amlaks in the year 1270.
