Maiya Maneza

Maija Mánesa ( Kazakh Майя Манеза; Russian Майя Салахаровна Манеза; born 1 November 1985 in Tokmok, Kyrgyz SSR, USSR ) is a weightlifter dunganischer origin from Kazakhstan. It was 2009 world champion in single combat in the weight class up to 63 kg body weight

Career

Maija Mánesa was born in Kyrgyzstan and lived a long time in Beijing (China). In 2007, she moved together with Sülfija Tschinschanlo over to Kazakhstan where he gained citizenship. In 2008 she appears in the results of the Olympic Games in Beijing than last in the weight class up to 63 kg body weight (bw ) with a "0" output. This means that it has not yet achieved neither in the snatch and jerk a performance. However, it is not clear whether she had three failed attempts in the snatch and is then no longer competed for thrusting, or whether they even refused to accept the outcome. In two world rankings of the IMF in 2008, which were published before the Olympic Games in Beijing, she is not listed, even though they start in the weight category up to 63 kg body weight already at 199 kg in the total. This means that their best performance must have been lying in a duel under 199 kg before the 2008 Olympics.

The first competition, in which she has participated proven, were the Asian Championships in Taldykorgan / Kazakhstan. She won there with a capacity of 229 kg ( 98-131 ) vies 3rd place behind Liu Xia from China, 231 kg, and O Jong Ae, North Korea, 229 kg. All the more surprising then comes her victory at the 2009 World Championships in Goyang / South Korea.
