Maja Alm

Maja Møller Alm (born 10 July 1988 Rødekro ) is a Danish orienteer and athlete.

Alm ran between 2004 and 2008 for a total of five junior world championships and was there. Among other things, third in 2007 and second in the sprint in 2008 with the Danish Season In 2007, she was first used at the World Championships the elite and reached here in the season in eighth place. The international breakthrough came finally 2010, when they left Helena Jansson from Sweden and Simone Niggli from Switzerland won bronze in the sprint at the European Championships in Bulgaria. At the end of the 2010 season, she was behind Niggli and Jansson third in the overall World Cup. At the World Championships 2011 in France, she missed finishing fourth in the sprint just a medal. 2012 succeeded Alm again a third place in the European Championship Chat sprint. In Lugnet she had time to defer only Simone Niggli and the Swede Lena Eliasson. Two months later at the World Championships in Lausanne, she was in second behind Sprint Niggli.

The odontologist in Denmark was a multiple national champion in orienteering and cross-country running.

Alm is a member of the athletics department of Aarhus GF. In orienteering, it starts OK for the HTF, internationally for the OK Pan Århus. By 2011, she ran internationally for the Swedish club Ulricehamns OK, with whom she won the 2009 Venla.
