Maja Kersnik

Maja Kersnik (born 17 April 1981) is a Slovenian badminton player.

Career

Maja Kersnik won her first title in her native Slovenia in 2003 in women's doubles with Maja Tvrdy. 2004, both were victorious again in the doubles. In the following year Kersnik won her first gold medal in women's singles, 2007, she won for the first time in the Mixed with Andrej Pohar. In 2010 she fought for women's doubles title with another Špela New Year's Eve. International, she won three titles at the European University Championships in 2004 and took part in the badminton world championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
