Majerovce
Majerovce (up to 1927 " Majorovce "; Hungarian Majoros ) is a small town in eastern Slovakia.
Geography
The community is located near the ruins Majerovce Čičava in the Valley of Ondava that enters here from the Ondauer Bergland ( Ondavská Highlands ) in the East Slovak Lowland. The city Vranov nad Topľou is just four kilometers from Majerovce.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1363. The Roman Catholic Church and the Greek Catholic Church were first built in the 1990s.

The Highway 558 from Vranov nad Topľou after Humenné through the community. In the near Vranov nad Topľou consists rail connection ( line Prešov - Michalovce ).
Statistics
The population Majerovces consists almost exclusively of Slovaks. 80 % of the population are Roman Catholics, 19 % gave as a confession of Greek- Catholic.
