Majus

The term al - Madschūs (Arabic المجوس, DMG al - maǧūs ) originally referred to followers of Zoroastrianism, in particular priest or skimmed or "magician". But he also included other Iranian religions. The word appears in this sense in the Qur'an in Sura 22:17.

In Iraqi propaganda literature of the 1980s, the use of the term Madschūs should denigrate polemical intention Iranians as false Muslims.
