Makaa–Njem languages
The Makaa - Njem languages are a language group within the Guthrie - zone A of the Bantu languages.
It is classified as Zone A80 and contains thirteen individual languages that are spoken by a total of approximately 335,000 people in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, the Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic.

- Mpongmpong, about 45,000 speakers in Cameroon
- Njyem, about 7000 speakers in Cameroon and the Republic of Congo
