Makád

Makád is a Hungarian town in Pest county, about 50 km south of the capital Budapest and 10 km from Ráckeve. It is located on Csepel Island, which is surrounded by two arms of the Danube. The area is characterized by lakes, forests and meadows. A 550 -acre nature reserve consists mainly of reeds and woods. The area around Makád offers possibilities for nature lovers and is ideal for anglers.
