Maker culture

Maker is the name given to a subculture that can be described as a Do-It -Yourself culture with the use of current technology.

Objectives

Goal of many followers is by their own means solving a technical problem without the use of expensive special solutions. A typical example is the use of 3D printers, which spare parts are manufactured for devices. Another example would be an automobile add more sensors and to read out it. There are also many members pursuing other projects that are purely artistic or academic, for example. An LED Cube is an example of a purely artistic purpose. Hackerspaces and FabLabs
