Makhdoom Shahabuddin

Makhdoom Shahabuddin ( born April 7, 1947 in Punjab ) is a Pakistani political leader of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP). He was health and textile minister of his country, and since February, 2008, the National Assembly (June 2012).

In the course of the impeachment proceedings against Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, the PPP and its coalition partners President Asif Ali Zardari agreed, on 21 June 2012, Shahabuddin as his successor.
