Makhenkesi Stofile

Makhenkesi Stofile Arnold (born 27 December 1944 Adelaide ( South Africa) ) is the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa in Berlin.

Life

Makhenkesi Arnold Stofile studied theology. Subsequently, he was until 1987 a lecturer at the University of Fort Hare. From 1994 to 1997 he was Group Finance Director and leader of the African National Congress. From 1997 to 2004, he served as Prime Minister of the Eastern Cape Province. In 2010, he was sports minister of South Africa. Since 2011 he is a South African ambassador in Berlin.
