Makram Khoury
Makram Khoury ( born 1945 in Jerusalem) is a Palestinian actor who has Israeli citizenship. He is one of the most famous Arabic-speaking actors. His daughter Clara Khoury is also an actress.
Khoury's family lived in northern Israel in the city of Acco. After he graduated from high school in 1963, he began studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which he, however, early in favor of acting broke. In 1987, the Israel Prize, he was awarded.
He is a member of the Syrian Orthodox Church.
