Malacca

Malacca ( ​​Malay: Melaka, Jawi: ملاك ) is the third smallest state in Malaysia. The capital city of Malacca is the same city Malacca.

Location and Geography

The state of Malacca occupies about 1.3% of the total area of Malaysia.

It is located on the southwestern coast of the Malay Peninsula, on the Straits of Malacca, about 150 km south east of Malaysia 's capital Kuala Lumpur and about midway between Kuala Lumpur and the city -state of Singapore. In the north, Malacca borders the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan and Johor to the east.
