Malagasy people

Research Committee ( malagasy, often translated as the German or " ethnic groups " " tribes " ) are mainly based on Madagascar groups with a collective identity that operate a common ancestor worship and are associated with a spatially limited area. The ethnonyms of the Research Committee are often derived from characteristics of the settlements of their members. FOKO come from different waves of immigration over the last 15 centuries.

The Malagasy government recognizes 18 Research Committee officially.
