Malaguti

Malaguti was an Italian manufacturer of motorcycles, scooters and mopeds, based in San Lazzaro di Savena, outside Bologna. The company was founded in 1930 by Antonio Malaguti. The company hired scooters and motorcycles fro 49-500 cc, employed about 270 people, mainly in the single production facility in Castel San Pietro Terme, where the models developed has always been produced and tested. In the fall of 2009, plans were unveiled for a hybrid -powered scooter.

Since no new investor was found, Malaguti has stopped production and closed the plant in November 2011.
