Malaysia national field hockey team

The Malaysian national hockey team of men represented Malaysia at the international level, for example in the Hockey World Cup, the Champions Trophy or the Olympic Games.

Malaysia took part in nine times previously in the Olympic Games and six World Championships. Best Merits are the two-time qualification for the Champions Trophy, the tournament's eight world's best hockey teams (1993, 2007) and the fifth place at the World Cup 1975. On the Asian level can Malaysia several successes in the Asian Games ( Silver Medal in 2010 and a total of 7 Bronze medals ) recorded, as well as a bronze medal at the Asia Cup Hockey 2007.

The Malaysian national hockey team of men was trained by Volker Knapp (1993-1998) and Paul Lissek (1998-1999, 2000-2003).
